This Sunday (11/17/2013) from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm the rescue group ...

Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love will be doing a meet and greet and are asking people to stop by and say hello as well as contribute to their great cause in saving Great Danes. They will be meeting in the center court at The Promenade Shopping Center off Providence Road.

This event is being held in honor of Giant George who passed away in October 2013. Here is what they had to say and share about this event ...

"Giant George, a blue Great Dane, previously held the Guinness record for Tallest Living Dog and Tallest Dog Ever. Sadly, he passed away in October 2013, a month shy of his 8th birthday. George and his family are dedicated supporters of animal charities, and in honor of what would be Giant George's 8th Birthday on November 17th, they have asked... that everyone donate their time and/or money to an animal cause or charitable organization that is important to you and your family."

So, get out there this Sunday and pay it forward in memory of Giant George in Charlotte, NC.

Hi Endre, we have two boxers and a black lab .. all were rescued and we love them. They are family to us as well.
