Peter-that is exactly what we are hoping for here.  Like the snow or not it is the lifeblood of our local, economy.

Bob-that is just a stock photo I pulled off the internet, but Snowbird did get a foot of snow today and it is supposed to keep snowing through the night.

Scott, The season is here. I know that makes you really busy and who knows some of those skiers may decide to buy and have a permanent place to stay.

Scott,

I'm sure skiers are happy! Let's hope it's a safe season, with fun, good snow weather, family and friends for all! A long time ago I lived near a ski slope and I always enjoyed seeing the skiers glide down the slopes from a distance.

Snow looks beautiful and I do remember it from my years in Germany (17 of them!) but at my age, I want no part of it.

Belinda-we just got a 1-2 foot storm that was exactly what the doctor ordered for opening day.

Debbie-Our busy season starts in about a month so it won't be long now, and I guess that's part of my job, to show everyone what a great place this is to live.

Kevin-I will let them know, that is a big perk up here so you never know.

Patricia-we are off to a pretty good start with yesterdays storm, hopefully it will keep up.

Barbara Jo-I could use a bit of warmth myself but snow is white gold here Park City, it makes the economy hum.

Roy-I don't blame you, I hope you have a nice long Indian Summer and don't get any snow until January.

Jon-I hope it is the best season as well and like the new picture by the way.

GOOD MORNING SCOTT ... How fun that ski resorts are already open in your area!  Tucson is hitting nearly 85 degrees today and as much as I like it - I will sure be excited when our northern cities ski resort opens (which isn't until probably January!)

I wish I had a spot to go to where it was 85 degrees right now, but everyone is gearing up for the season, saw a car with skis on it yesterday that must have been headed to Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Jeff-We got a nice storm over the weekend that will be a big help, one more like that should be able to get the majority of the mountain open.
