     Getting stuck in the mountains yesterday may have ended my 30 in 30 challenge, but being fortunate enough to enjoy views like this, I think I may be ok with the trade off.  Above 8000ft the sky resembled fields of snow, extending for miles.  Atop the 10,000ft+ summit, we ran into low temps and a biting constant 50mph wind so we didn't hang out there very long.  Long day, and though tired & sore today, it was well worth it to see nature's very best.  It's kind of scary to think that Mt. Everest, the worlds tallest point, is nearly 3 times this high!

Kathleen - I'm bummed out since I could have (and should have!) used the post-date feature for drafts but I've been too stubborn to do it.  The experience was well worth it though!

Bette - I agree, the views we saw were truly priceless, I've never seen anything like that outside of movies or plane windows.

Larry - I make it a point to see and experience as much of the world as I possibly can, but am humbled and constantly thankful for each & every one.  Thanks for the comment.

I remember doing a 30 day challenge before the post-date feature and it was hard.  Nice now to have that back up.
