Apex, NC is a big relocation area in addition to the Cary area. Many companies are moving their headquarters to Cary, NC or Research Triangle Park. Apex also offers a great quality of life and wonderful lifestyle. It is becoming well known for its quaint revitalized downtown area. It was also most recently voted as the Apex NC #9 Best Places to Live by Money magazine.

Apex is a smaller town and never truly had a huge bubble, it wasn't hit as hard during the recession. Sellers did take a hit but, nothing like other NC towns and especially not like other states such as FL, NV, CA, etc. It is important a homebuyer is educated in Real Estate before purchasing in this area. You can clearly see that most homes in Apex NC are selling for 98% - 99% of of FINAL list price. This past year, Apex did not have Resale homes selling at $1m and up. This shows us that most homes are priced correctly.
Also notice how the days on the market fluctuate. This too demonstrates sweet spots for home buyers.
These statistics are for the entire town of Apex. The numbers will vary based on many things such as schools, area, neighborhood and more. There are cases where homes are selling for more than 100% of FINAL list price.
