26 homes have been purchased and torn down on Witchduck Rd in Virginia Beach.  They are making way for a new and improved road.  The city is adding one lane in each direction, a median and bike path.  There are 5 more waiting for the same fate. 

Ron Hamilton will be the last man standing.  He has been a renter for 27 years and doesn't want to move.  He is 85 years old and finding another home is proving tough for him and also the cities real estate agent.  He has looked at over 100 homes and hopefully he will find something suitable for him.

WOW I did not realize they were tearing everything down on Witchduck.  I lived in Va Beach for seven years in the 80's.

Thats sad when you are forced to leave the place you love.  I hope Ron has a happy ending.  That is to much stress for an 85 yr old to deal with.
