Trash Talk 2013 - Clark County, WA Holiday Schedule
It’s that time of year again when it's time to talk trash. From Thanksgiving through New Years Day, waste increases by more than 25% in most households. It’s mostly food, shopping bags, product packaging, and gift wrap.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the additional debris adds up to an extra 1 million ton of trash a week. Obviously, efforts to recycle some of our holiday trash is a good plan. Let’s all try to reduce, reuse, and recycle to benefit our community and the environment.
