Cammie Jones Named PWN Woman Of The Year

 Cammie Jones of Cammie Jones Organizing has been named Professional Women's Network of The Monterey Peninsula Woman Of The Year. 

Active and involved in PWN: 

She has been a member since 2008 and served as fundraising chair for 2 years. She has chaired the WOTY Silent Auction, She has served on the Women of the Year nomination She donates whenever there is a request for donations.

       Exhibits excellent networking skills:

 attends many professional organization meetings, is a public speaker, and networks with a smile so everyone feels comfortable when they meet her. She has referred many women to PWN and always offers a helping hand to new members, evn as a new member “buddy”.

    Excellent role model as a business professional

believes we are all here to help each other and practices what she preaches. She moved to the Monterey Peninsula 5 years ago and has built a well known and profitable business in that amount of time.

      Is active in the community:    currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) and is a member of PWN, SVBWN, Monterey Velo Club, Carmel Women’s Club, Democratic Women of Monterey County, Women of Wine, Carmel Orchid Society, Monterey Ski and Social Club, and Optimist International. 

      Performs community service for worthwhile initiatives:

      has raised funds for many charities and each year chooses a “Walk” to support a larger charity. She has raised funds for Arthritis Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and Rising International. She has secured grants and funds for the YWCA Lawson “Safe” House Emergency Shelter for Battered Woman and their Children and Shelter Outreach Plus programs.

      Balances work and family commitments with a dedication to both: She makes sure there is time for her husband, self and friends. She allows time for working out, walking, yoga, journaling, and reading. She enjoys traveling, camping, backpacking and wine tasting. She insures that she and her husband have time for a number of short trips each year.

 Cammie Will be honored at the Woman Of The Year Celebration on December 4th, 2013 at The Embassy Suites in Monterey.
