I'm a country girl at heart. I grew up in a small town, so Boise is a big city to me even though I've been hear almost a decade now. If I weren't in a career that had me driving around town all the time and meeting up with clients at a moments notice I would love to live up in the mountains. But I can't. So, I have the next best thing - a house in city limits on an acre, just minutes from the freeway exit, but out the outskirts of town. I take "back roads" to a lot of the places that I go and I often find myself driving in the country more than I am even driving in the city. My commute to Nampa from Boise is all farm, agriculture and acreage homes. My commute to my daughter's preschool (which I mentioned in a previous post is currently having an online auction fundraiser) is the same.
Above is a picture on the drive home from my daughter's preschool. Our ritual is to drive by Linder Farms and the tractors. I just love it.
Small town girl, happy in a big (ish) city.
