A New Day - Thank God For Mrs. Friedman What Our Country Needs More Of

I woke up this morning (thank God) wondering what I would post about and the first thing that came to my mind was Mrs. Friedman. Yesterday as we have done so many times the past 20 years we thanked God for a bringing Mrs. Friedman into our lives.

Mrs Friedman (a widow) was one of our first tenants. She had lost her only child to a drug overdose and was taking on the responsibility of caring for her little granddaughter. At first we were reluctant to rent to her because she was not getting any help from the government and had just retired but there was something about her and the love that she obviously had for her little granddaughter that made us decide with our hearts and not our brains... So a few days after we met her we said,  "Mrs. Friedman lets sign that lease."  Not for one second in all these years have we ever regretted doing so!!!!

The house is a ranch style (no steps) approximately 900 square feet with two bedrooms one bath a basement and sits on a 7000 square foot lot.

Here's why we love Mrs. Friedman... never once has she been late with her rent... not once in over 20 years... never once has the lawn not be attended... never once has she destroyed something and asked us to fix it... never once have we been blamed because she has mice or roaches or bed bugs...  in fact this week was the very first time she asked us for anything...she called and asked Rich if we might do some painting for her... we usually paint every few years but Mrs. Friedman has done her own painting all these years and never once asked us for a dime... she is now over 80 years old and Rich has already sent the painter to her and with much joy we will see that the little house she calls home is made beautiful for her...

Mrs. Friedman no longer pays her rent... her granddaughter who has recently married and moved out but visits her daily, now brings her rent to Rich every month like clockwork!!! She is a beautiuful young woman and we are pleased to see how she treasures her grandmother.

We have not raised Mrs. Friedman's rent for years and we never will... When Mrs. Friedman is gone we will knock the house down and build a new one and sell it because after 30 years of being landlords we know that a Mrs. Friedman is a very genuine and rare gem and we have zero interest in housing any more phony gems... in fact we are in the process of selling all of our properties currently occupied by phony, fraudulent lazy liars who live off of our tax dollars and make no effort to provide for themselves in any way shape or form. Most are young single woman with 3 or more children... I wonder how they will turn out...

So on this New Day I thank you Father for Mrs. Friedman... she is and continues to be a blessing...
