How I am Going To Benefit My Business Plan During The Holiday Season
The reason I am re-blogging Noah's post, is because it is a great example of what we can do to get new business. He thought out his situation nd overcame the problem and, as he says, his plan is to keep on keeping on. It's an inspiration to me. See what you think.
In the beginning of 2013 I lost my personal assistant. I had her for 6 years and she was great. She had twin daughters and became too busy with them and quit. I totally understood. We are still friends. She did so much for me and it was impossible to replace her. I thought long and hard about what should I do. For awhile I was lost and searched for another but could not come up with anyone I trusted as much and who would do as great a job all the way around.
I decided I would do it myself. I started Active Rain, got active in my Face Book Business Page and learned how to use Twitter. Social networking really helps in today's Real Estate Self marketing world. It is the only way to promote yourself. It took awhile to get it down but I have felt great results from everything I have done.
On Face book at first my posts were boring, all about Real Estate and people told me they were blah. I got the idea to mix my personal interests, music, nature and world events with Real Estate being sort of an advertisement. It has worked. I have gotten new business form it.
Twitter was pretty easy, I read some documentation on how to use it and I recommend anyone post links to their blogs on this great program. I now have over 650 followers. If you want to check me out I am Noahzark58, please do. it is fun.
Active Rain has been the biggest help. At first I had writers block. I came to the conclusion that if you try too hard it won't work. An idea pops into my head and I let it flow. I love the friends I have met on Active Rain and treasure them forever.
In Short my business plan is to keep on keeping on. I have gained about 25% new business in 2013 and want to do more in 2014.
