Begin your holiday season at the spectacular 39th Annual Denver Parade of Lights. The two mile parade route in Downtown Denver is the stage for Colorado’s brightest holiday tradition. The free holiday celebration features marching bands, ornate floats, and, of course, a special appearance by Santa. Grab your hot chocolate and gloves as this year is going to be one to remember. The spectacular begins Friday, December 6th at 8 p. m. for the first parade. You can enjoy a second parade on Saturday, December 7th at 6 p. m. The parade route runs through Downtown Denver, starting in front of Civic Center Park and the City & County Building on Bannock at 14th Avenue. The route then crosses Colfax Avenue, travels west on 14th, turns right on Tremont Place and goes three blocks to 17th. The parade travels down 17th to Arapahoe and turns left, making another left turn on 15th Street up to Glenarm Place. The parade turns right on Glenarm Place and finishes at 14th & Glenarm Place.
