It's an Iconic Day.....November 22nd....Where you Were...Where you Are....

Yes, it is amazing to look back at this picture.  Camelot for sure.  It's hard to believe it's been 50 yrs.  My oh my how our country has changed and how we view the presidency.

It still saddens me, even after 50 years.

Hi Sally.  I can never forget this day because it is also my birthday.

I was in a shopping mall in Houston Texas when I heard about it.  I remember someone saying it was a good thing. That was the first time I ever saw my mother so mad she was ready to knock the guy on his ass. 

I was sitting at my sewing machine making a dress for my daughter.  I remember it well.  Heard the news on the TV.

This i one of those events, that if you around, you remember where you were and what you were doing.  I was walking out of high school , getting ready to get on the bus.

He was such an inspirational man and I am glad many folks still give him the credit he deserves...

I remember sitting in the living room with my mother in front of the TV and she was crying.  More vividly is the memory of where I was when I heard John Jr. was killed in a plane crash.  In my car, on my way to a yard sale.   I immediately started crying.  Whenever I see a pic of John Jr. (young or old) I get very emotional.
