About Midnight Pass Road
Midnight Pass Road, also called Florida State Road 758, starts at the Southern end of Siesta Key. It then runs North parallel to Heron Lagoon, then intersects with Stickney Point Road, then just before Siesta Public Beach, turns to bypass Siesta Key Village, where it ends at the intersection with Higel Avenue.
Midnight Pass was located between Casey Key and Siesta Key. Once Midnight Pass afforded a passage from the Gulf of Mexico to Little Sarasota Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. However in 1988, it was reported that the Pass was so closed that it could not be discerned from either the Gulf side or from Little Sarasota Bay.
