Being Mindful can Go a Long Way

There is perhaps not a day or a moment for that matter that I don’t think about the word MINDFULNESS in every aspect of my life.  It’s utilized every day in Feng Shui and just in general with life.  It’s important to do your best in being mindful of your families, friends, complete strangers, and of course, clients/employees.  It’s best to treat them with RESPECT  always.

I have always believed that one who criticizes anothers behavior only puts themselves in a bad light.  Although we may disagree with other Realtors, home stagers, friends or even family points of views and many other issues, there are respectful ways to do it.  In the world of Feng Shui we were taught NEVER to disparage the way another practitioner; not their methods, prices, or anything else about them.  Just as in any profession that same principle may apply as well; having Respect and Mindfulness.

I strongly suggest when searching out a Feng Shui consultant to work with or really any profession in any field, it’s best to Educate yourself on who you are inviting into your home or who you will be working with. Please take the time and be mindful to check references and Certifications.

Very nice reminder that most of us need from time to time Laura.  It is easy to fall into the trap of being critical of others and I strive to avoid it and even if I am not successful every day, I know I am working on being a better person and Realtor every day of the year.

Laura, I think the key is to be open to other opinions.  There is the right way to communicate that and the wrong way.
