Real Estate Agent with MOOERS REALTY ME Broker License 106759

The marriage, partnership with your real estate agent when a property sale has to happen.

Maine Lupine Flowers PhotoYou have a lot riding on getting the place bought or sold.

Because your life is on hold.

A clock is ticking loudly.

Your family needs a roof over it's head.

Can't sleep in the car or down at the "Y".

And have to focus on that new job you relocated to with the kids.

Four new walls to protect them.

For the safe and secure shelter feeling.

Needs to be coming right up please.

(Hotel bell ding ding sound) Getting this new home found, financed. Means selling your old place where you use to hang your hat, call home first.

How is that relationship, romance with the other real estate agent in your life out of state working out?

Happy, fun, or rocky, strained? Maybe not so free and easy any more? Conversation at a lull. The real estate relationship that was all smiles. Going in. Full of promise. Hand holding. Everything new, different. Warm and fuzzy. That agent, broker who waved good by tearfully. But told you not to worry. As the loaded to the gills, heavily packed moving van of personal possessions creaked, groaned lumbering, leaving town?Real Estate Relationships Cupid Photo

Or the parent's family homestead is just slurping up heating oil, gas, electricity.

No one home. No one coming back home.

Because the two owners that look a lot like you are both gone. Lived a full life and left a household of fading memories.

And you, your brothers and sisters all have their own homes to maintain. Kids to fit with braces, college education accounts to fund, prom dresses to buy at $300, with a wear-it-one time pop, shot to the wallet.

The estate needs settling but delays are happening one by one.

The Maine house is lingering, languishing on the local real estate market. Despite three price reductions. Because the right combination, link up with a real estate agent, broker may be the problem.

Expectations out of whack somewhere along the way. Luke warm, lack luster marketing and pie in the sky pricing to begin with the real culprits to a real estate sale not happening?

Maybe the real estate agent, broker is not batting 1000.

Heck of a nice guy or gal. But like love, you need to be in love. A whole bunch higher, happier sacred place. To really have the passion, horsepower to pull off amazing things day to day. At work, home, in life.

So changing horses, pulling the plug.

Firing or divorcing the one where you both said I do. Tied in writing the "find it or sell it" real estate relationship knot. Where now it is just not Changing Real Estate Horses Photoworking out at all. Both just want out.

Not relisting and back on the streets you go.

Searching, lonely, wondering who to link up with and give it another go.

With a shaken, blank etch-o-sketch to begin again as you wonder, wander, are adrift.

Like online dating sites, scope out the Maine real estate agent, broker marketing services.

Promotion of the area, the properties.

Do they FAQ blog post, use real estate video, go above and beyond for service?

The "can I help you" attitude, tone apparent in the marketing, first meeting? Real go getter, hard worker or just good at slinging the buzz words? Telling you what you want to hear, not what you need to know that's happening in today's real estate market.

How they handle, treat, take care of other real estate properties? Kind, considerate, passionate, detailed and helpful? With a little humor, a sense they will never leave you stranded or in the dark, alone? Real estate is a emotional. Real estate listing, selling involves lots of relationships.

With the buyer and seller of the property listings. With banks, lawyers, appraisers, building inspectors and all the other factors each unique buyer or seller brings into the puzzle. To figure out, work around and wrinkle remove to make the closing happen. The keys to the new house to get slid across the high polished bank or attorney closing conference room table.

Maine, big state, less rules, more freedom and wide open outdoor living happens here.

Cute analogy - and I can't count the number of times I spent more time with my clients than I did with my spouse :)

Yes, Andrew, in many ways a Realtor's relationship with a client is like a marriage.  There's a lot riding on how well they get along.

Wayne and Jean Marie ... We have lots of relationships and if you and the buyer, seller thought of it as first, is this a good match, fit for both... longer happier "marriages" and repeat business, happy happy testimonials renewing the vows would happen.

Gabe ... "You don't bring me followers ...  I mean flowers any more" (sang horribly off key) You have to weed, feed, court and spark to make the list, market, sell (repeat) Cupid arrow to sink home. Over and over.

Cindy ... Thank you darlin'. Good night. It has to be good for both of you. In anything on the teeter totter treatment of others in life.

Andy, OMGosh you just wrote my life. I'm trying to settle my dad's estate in Ohio and can't get the house sold. Realtor is a close family friend who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. How do you divorce that????

Connie ... You do the best with what you have and it could be that as bad as you feel, the two of you may agree that better to change horses. Because she has a lot on her plate with getting the best of the cancer to stay alive. On the top of her game.

It's a marriage no matter how you slice it, but it can be a successful one if both sides have the right expectations.

Margaret ... You have to water the relationship. Weed and feed to keep it healthy, breathing, no neglected. We are in the business of relationships.

Morris ... Married living alone is no fun so everyone work on their own paper, their own set of chores, what's in their job description.
