We all have wants and desires. We all dream big. Want things beyond what we can achieve. There's nothing wrong with that AT ALL. As a matter of fact, it is perfectly healthy to have goals and visions.
They help us stay focus and on target.
BUT, there's always a BUT:
We have to be careful of how we get there. Did we plan it out well? A strategy, a step-by-step? Or did we try to get it too fast, too soon?
Honestly, I dream of a home with land in Frisco. My perfect ideal homesite has a pond and a dock. While showing homes to a relocation couple from Kansas City yesterday, we stumbled upon it and it was just a perfect setting. I could blog on those airondack chairs. Don't come bother me and I will do just fine.
I shared my dream with my husband. I wanted him to see it with me so bad.
It's achievable, even now... But deep inside, I know the TIME is NOT NOW. I know the Lord has asked me to focus on growing and stablizing the business now, this season of my life. It's not to add on more debt-load onto my shoulders.
It's hard to accept NO and not even a NOT NOW. But the Lord know what's best for me and I have accept that I'll be perfect okay where I'm at.
Until then, I'll just print this photo, stick it on my board and remind myself of CONTENTMENT.... just means It's NOT NOW....
Scripture of the Week:
Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it.
1 Timothy 6:6-7
