It Does Not Matter How Slowly You Go

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop" ....... Confucius

perseverance

One of the pleasures of walking in in a city like San Francisco, is that there's something of interest around every corner.

Some time ago, on a walk in our neighborhood, I came across this tree. I had probably walked past it numerous times before, but on this particular occasion I noticed it. I must have been open to Confucius' thought that day, "it does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."

This is a much-needed piece of advice for this Realtor. I'm glad this tree, which slowly has encased the pole, shared it's example of perseverance with me and taught me it's OK to slow down the frantic pace of life, take a breath, and keep going.

Lottie, that is a great statement!  No matter what anyone chooses to do in life, do it with conviction, excitement, urgency, and be coachable along the way, and never ever STOP!!  Building businesses and relationships takes time!!

Lottie, This is a great metaphor.  Life is not a race. It is a journey. When we arrive at our final destination the journey is over. We must all slow down and enjoy the journey and not allow anything to stop us from growing ... like the tree.

Lottie  Great post for this Sunday.  I always enjoy a Confucius quote.  Here's hoping the street department doesn't go looking for their sign.  Enjoy the day!
