Let's talk turkey

Sunday night and it's almost time to relax and enjoy the holiday light decorations I've been working on the past 2 days, in between work stuff. Today I took an hour off of holiday decorating and work duty to head out to Costco. Since we've got folks coming to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner it seemed like a good time to go shopping instead of waiting till the last minute. Yikes - it was busy! But everyone was friendly and patient and in great spirits despite the long lines.

I bought a fresh turkey as I've learned quite a bit from activerain posts this past week or two. The funniest turkey post was written by Brad Mackenzie. You MUST check out Brad's post if you want a very interesting take on cooking a turkey! It never occurred to me that people actually cooked turkey's in such a fashion. Do I have your interest peeked? Good - now head on over and read's Brad's turkey wisdom! You'll be so glad you did - trust me - and - gobble gobble - that's all folks!
