Grab your towels and sunscreen - bus service from the Santa Clarita area to Santa Monica beach is back in service!

The Beach Bus will stop at Val Verde park in Castaic at 8:30am, at the McBean Transfer Station in Valencia (at the corner of Valencia Blvd.) at 8:50am and at Richard Rioux Park in Stevenson Ranch at 9:05am, and arrive at the beach at about 10:00am. The return trip for Santa Monica is at 3pm. The bus runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays through September 2.

Fares are very reasonable at $1.50 regular and $.75 for seniors each way. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. You can bring along surfboards and coolers, but leave the family dog at home. The bus is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible.
