Not only are we your Columbus Ohio contractors, but we also serve as your design specialist and idea creators! Although we specialize in home remodeling, kitchen remodeling, room additions and more- we also know sometimes a full remodel isn’t in the budget.

If you are ready for a big change but your pocket book isn’t quite ready, a great way to really alter a space is to PAINT. Paint can be a great temporary fix for a quick change to a space.  Besides, as we say it is just paint! The best part about paint is that it can be changed multiple times to your liking. We have seen people’s design aesthetics change over the years, and with that so do their paint colors.

Nothing creates more immediate impact than a fresh coat of paint and paint is one of the best low cost options when infusing style in a living space! By simply changing your wall, ceiling or trim color, rooms can go from boring to bright in just a matter of hours. Not many home improvement products can provide as much punch for the dollar.  Don’t be afraid to find some colors that truly speak to who you are, especially if you are the one enjoying the space. We have found that when people select colors that they enjoy, their space becomes comfortable and more like home to them.

When doing a home remodeling project, NJW recommends thinking outside of the box a bit and not only think about painting the walls but maybe instead think about changing the color of the moldings in the room. You should tape off the adjacent walls with painters' tape  to keep the new trim color off the walls. By painting the door frames, baseboards, and window moldings, you'll see an immediate change and a fresh new look!

Another trick your preferred home improvement company has learned through experience is that you can create interest in any room by painting the ceiling with an accent color or using a glossy paint finish. The eye is drawn up, the room feels larger, and lighting reflects off the color or gloss.

Think about what sort of change you'd like to make in your room, pick a project, and get to work. You'll be glad you did, and remember it’s just paint!

Yes, painting can make a huge difference and it's generally not that expensive to redo.

I enjoy painting Debbie, I don't think there is one single thing that can make such an impact on a room.
