Last year my husband, daughter and I walked the One Mile Fun Run for North Texas Turkey Trot in Frisco, TX. This Turkey Trot benefits the Miracle League of Frisco, a sports league that allows children of all abilities to play and not be left out because of a disability. My daughter plays baseball in this league. She loves it when she’s rolled by the stands and we are yelling for her!
Last year when we walked the mile, my husband and I decided we would start running and get in shape to run this year. We are going to start small and run the 5K. We’re not sure just how long it will take us to run it but we will be out there early Thanksgiving morning running for our daughter who cannot walk.
