You've gotta' check out this St. Patrick's Day Game!
Hope you're wearing green!
"St. Patrick's Day is observed on March 17 because that is the feast day of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It is believed that he died on March 17 in the year 461 AD. It is also a worldwide celebration of Irish culture and history. St. Patrick's Day is a national holiday in Ireland, and a provincial holiday in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador." This is a fun site! I learned that;
- 34 million Americans have Irish Ancestry.
- Guiness Book of Records says the most leaves found on a clover is 14!
- The harp is the symbol of Ireland
- Their flag has a histroy, the green represents the south, the orange the north and the white represents the peace that brings them together.
On Halloween I found this really fun site to play Hangman. The skeleton mocks you and the words are actually challenging! The game is a lot of fun, so give it a shot! St. Patrick's Day Hangman: http://dedge.com/flash/hangman/
Have a wonderful day, I will be putting my corned beef in the crockpot in the morning!
