Today I’m celebrating a day of thanks and gratitude. I am thankful for my family and friends, including Social Media/ActiveRain friends, especially Kerrie & Bob and staff working behind the scenes. Special thanks to my family and all the AR members whom I either met in person, talked to on the telephone, commented on my blog posts occasionally or on a regular basis. You keep me on my toes and I appreciate all that I have learned from you.
There’s a strong feeling of gratitude for those who consistently cares for others here on ActiveRain. Although we all face challenges and get busy, it is very touching when virtual friends notice you’re not there. For some, this is very moving, especially when there are blood relatives who may not notice when you’re MIA.
Because we believe in the good, isn’t it wonderful when someone like Karen Anne Stone makes progress and is learning how to talk again. There are so many bloggers who needed prayers and miracles are happening. There is power in the RAIN.
I give thanks to my clients Jeff & Jessica for their trust and belief that there is a home, out there for them. They are now under contract and what better way than Thanksgiving Day to start Day #1 of their option period. I count my blessings for all my referrals, clients, and people who trust me to get their properties sold or a property under contract. Special thanks to Susie & Rich who stayed strong and worked with an excellent Associate of mine from Keller Williams Realty to get the final Amendment signed while I was having surgery - they even sent me flowers. Today they are in their new home J. And Sally Hanson was an angel in the RAIN because she was always making sure I was doing okay.
Most importantly, I owe a debt of gratitude to my daughter who flew half way around the world to be with me while I was hospitalized and she continues to check in on me via long distance. While we may all agree there's no place like home, I'm of the opinon that there's no greater love than family.
I wish you all good health, prosperity, successful business transactions/relationships, and most of all true happiness with ongoing education and learning. For those who believe in religion I hope you are showered with an abundance of blessings; for those who don’t believe, I hope you get double the blessings. In the spirit of ActiveRain, let every day be a day of thanks-giving!!
Happy Thanksgiving one and all from deep in the heart of Texas, "The Little REALTOR® That Could."
