Tom Quiggle has been a member of Eriez Toastmasters Club for five years and has worked dilgently on earning Toastmasters' communication and leadership awards. Tom recently retired from Penelec, a First Energy Company, and is the 2013-2014 president of Eriez Toastmasters Club.

Mary, Reading this reminds me that I want to become active in Toastmasters again. It helps me to feel more comfortable in my own skin. I am confident in what I have to say ... I am body conscious and am not entirely comfortable standing in front of people talking. I am okay sitting at a conference room table ...but standing in front of people ... I am still uncomfortable

Kathleen, let me encourage you to find a Toastmasters club in your area. You will find that Toastmasters is a great boost no matter what your hesitation is. And it is also a good way to find new clients who like what you have to say and how you say it. I hope to read a post soon about your first Toastmasters meeting.
