Did you know that Hair Spray is not only for Hair?

Here are a few household tips for the use Hair Spray!

Exterminate Houseflies - An annoying buzzing housefly has been weaving and bobbing around your house for the last two days.  Make it bite the dust with a squirt of hair spray.  Watch the fly drop.  But make sure the hair spray is water-soluable so that, if any spray hits the walls, you'll be able to wipe it clean.  Works great on wasps and bees too.  So, the next time you can't find the bug spray, just reach over for the Hair Spray.

Removes lipstick from fabric - I'm sure most of us have done this, we wait until we get into the car and apply our lipstick, we drop it on our suit pants or skirt and now we have a stain, or for the men, had a lady kiss you near the neck and she got lipstick on your collar.  Well, just apply hair spray to the lipstick stain and let it sit for a few minutes.  Wipe off the hair spray and the stain would come off with it as well.

Preserve a Christmas Wreath - Christmas is just around the corner and you want to get a live Wreath or even a small tree.  They're fresh, green, and lush this time of year.  By the time a week has gone by, it's starting to shed their needles or look a little dry.  To make your Wreath last longer, grab your can of hair spray and spritz it all over as soon as you get the fresh wreath home. The spray traps the moisture in the needles.  Keeps them looking fresh and green longer.

Preserve the shine in your shoes - This time of year (The Holidays) we're getting tons of invitations for different parties and you want your shoes to look their best.  So, after you've lovingly polished your shoes to give them that shine (just from bought from the store look), lightly spray them with hair spray.  The shoe polish won't rub off so easily with this coat of protection.  Keeps them more waterproof and shiny when it snows too.

So don't throw out the old can of hair spray that you don't use anymore, they're are others ways to make good use of something!
