Always something new at the Exploratorium, San Francisco

The days after Thanksgiving seem to call for getting out for exercise, and living in San Francisco makes that easy to do. After a leisurely breakfast on Friday morning, we set out across the shoulder of Nob Hill, down through Chinatown, across North Beach to the former Barbary Coast area and then to our destination, The Exploratorium. We weren't here for the museum, but to buy a couple of gift cards. (Love shopping local!)

Outside the museum were several exhibits which weren't there a month ago - you can count on finding something fresh and new to stimulate the mind. Today, this demonstration how clouds are formed was enjoyable to watch.

When you live in San Francisco, you'll never be bored, unless that's your choice!

Eric, thanks for your comment and good wishes. Sending the same right back to you.

Nancy, think about bringing your grandchildren to San Francisco for a long weekend. If you do, the Exploratorium is a "must." (Actually, it's a great place for adults, too. )

Lottie-I will add that to my list to see in San franciso. I like to give gift cards. Not only is it easier it is also better for the folks I buy for because they can get what they want. A win/win

Sharon, do you have a trip planned this way? The Exploratorium is great for everyone. I like giving gift cards for experiences--most of us have too much 'stuff' but an outing is always fun.

Lottie-Yes and no. It is on my list to visit as well as visiting you. With caring for Mom full time right now I don't have definite plan at the moment. I plan to travel extensively down the road but will be doing some traveling in between.
