As we arrive full swing into the holiday season the fires in Colorado and in Colorado Springs seem like a long way away. For small businesses affected not only by the fires/floods themselves but also the lack of business activity during that time the rest of the year can be critical in terms of economic survival and recovery.
With today being Small Business Saturday a quick and easy way to give back to our community is to shop at and therefore support small businesses and the owners, families and employees who are the very fabric of these. Specifically Manitou Springs Small Businesses and Black Forest Small Businesses are areas to focus on and give extra support and buying power to this year.
When disaster happens it is easy to remember and be supportive. Well after the event is sometimes when taking the time to give & care can be compassionate and living the Spirit of the Holiday Season.
