There is no doubt this guy is just plan ugly. Of course he has a purpose in nature. Seeing him right after Thanksgiving made me wonder if might be waiting for me to toss out the Turkey carcass for him. He also wasn't what I was trying to take a photo of but if opportunity knocks take the shot.
Good pic. I see of few of these guys out my way...they are usually on the side of the road eating something already dead.
I think these birds like to eat nasty smelly dead animals nothing cooked. Actually, I don't know that last statement but I would like to.
That is one ugly bird. Not one that I'd like to come across anytime soon.
Given this interesting shot, it leaves me to wonder; what was the intended subject matter ? Perhaps the target of this fellas gaze ? His next meal ?
They are ugly birds .When ever I see them I try to get a picture . It always amazes me that they are locally flying around
