Spring is here and it is time to work off a little of that winter weariness. If you are looking for some new places to walk here are some places to think about.
The Detroit Metro area has many great spots to walk. Kensington Metro Park has a great bike and walking path. The parks along Edward Hines drive has many great trails. Or step out to Maybury's state park in Northville on 8 & Beck.
In Livonia there is a walking path in Rotary park, Westland has a great walking park. Every city has a football field and track. Those are great, dry places to walk. Farmington has 628 acres of parks, Canton has 6 parks 270 acres, Novi has 12 parks, Northville has 5 parks, Plymouth has 12 parks, Livonia has 1800 acres of parks, and Maybury state park is 920 acres.
If you want to walk indoors you walk at one of the nearby malls such as Briarwood Mall, Westland Mall, 12 Oaks Mall, or Laurel Park Place. Or you can join Lifetime Fitness in Canton, or Novi or Livonia's recreation center and use their indoor tracks. Enjoy the beautiful Day. Russ Ravary
