Colonial Williamsburg Flowers

Colonial Williamsburg is a wonderful place to visit to learn much about American history at the time of the Revolution.  Dolores and I enjoy visiting the area several times each year. We are annual members so we are able to take advantage of all of the benefits.

The gardens of Colonial Williamsburg offer special treats for those that enjoy flower photography.  Take time to enjoy the flowers and plants when you visit the area during the primary growing seasons.

Hi Roy, You should come out to California and see the foliage and flowers. I am always surprised to see so many flowers still in bloom. My poinsettia which is huge now was given to me from a client last year and it is starting to turn red. I have it in a pedestal planter outside and I was reading today that poinsettias don't do well outside. Hummm. Maybe I am doing something wrong, it is thriving, lol.

I meant to add that one day before Christmas, I will drive up to Newport Beach, CA ( 1 hour north of me) and visit Rogers Gardens. I will take some photos of their holidays displays and the many unique flowers they show. It has some of the most beautiful flower displays in Ca.

Hi Roy, I think I have told you before but it deserves repeating, I love history and Williamsburg is a great place to visit. As a kid we used to go to DC to visit my Uncle and Aunt and went there a few times, I have fond memories.

Roy - Every American should visit Colonial Williamsburg at least once in their lifetime and if they are lucky enough to visit it more, all the better!

It is sometimes interesting to revisit old blogs and reblogs.  It is sad to see the names of members who are no longer active.
