Premium Forests & Wildlife in Polk County Wisconsinforests

Polk County is not only the county where I grew up at but also the home of some very nice Forestland and Wildlife.

This lovely county is a hot-spot for people from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St Paul) with a short drive from the big city to a rural forest paradise.

Our clients at Woodland Management Service own some very nice forest land in this county and they are quite happy with the quality wildlife and forests here.

hardwood forestPolk County is home to nearly 280 thousand acres of forest land, Most of which is private land.

Bob, Grow that red oak because I think that is what I want in my new house and want there to be plenty of it so prices will be down.

Wow Bob!  This looks like everything you always wanted to know about forestry and woodland but were afraid to ask.   Lots of good information here - no matter what your situation may be, I'm sure there is an answer.

Bob I love trees.  Polk County is fortunate to have your expertise in forestry to help maintain the natural surroundings.

When my house was being constructed the thing I was most concern about,  was saving as many trees as possible.

This is the type of area I would look for my retirement home. However, I don't think I could take the snow; no matter how much I would love to have seasons.

Bob, those are beautiful photos of a Wisconsin forest. Side story...I just found out my dental hygienist is from Southern Wisconsin not too far from my house in Northern Illinois...I only mention this because I miss both states.

Bob your posts always make me feel good. So much like an old camping trip I did with buddies when I had not a care in the world.

Your state has always been known for its dairy farms, but over the last couple of years I've learned a lot about your forest land as well.
