Even in this age of computers nearly everywhere you look, libraries are an integral part of our community.
The Morgan Hill Library just announced they will have Monday hours for the first time in several years. This gives you six days each week to spend your quality time learning or relaxing in a place designed for just that.
The new hours don't go into effect until 2014, but beginning 6 January, you can visit Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-9 p.m. The hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are from 10:00 in the morning through 6:00 in the evening. Sorry, but they're closed Sundays.
This schedule is based on inputs from the community (isn't it great to be heard?) and takes staffing into consideration. According to the Morgan Hill Times, this was largely viable because of funds left over from the closed Redevelopment Agency.
There's more good news because our Morgan Hill Library has a host of educational and fun programs. Check out their Facebook Page for great ideas and even more details - straight from the source.
If you're not familiar, the Morgan Hill Library is at 660 W. Main between Dewitt and Peak. Hope to see you there soon!
As always, let's foresee the possibilities . . . and get results!
