Stop Letting Mother Nature Increase Your Utility Bills!

You don't have to be in the market to sell your home in order to want or have to do some energy saving weatherproofing.  Some simple fixes and maintenance can keep your home cool as a cucumber (or roasty & toasty) and save you some cash year round.

From caulking cracks and gaps to insulating just about everything, you can make your dollar stretch further.  My favorite, small scale insulator is Great Stuff brand foam insulation.  There's a Great Stuff product for all your insulating needs - even one that repels pests!

I feel a large energy zapper in my home are the windows.  They're older and not well insulated.  The awnings over the windows in my home really to save us; really keeps out the heat in the summer months (to a point). Older windows don't have to steal your heat and money.  Regular sealing maintenance and insulated draperies can make a world of difference!

Tony, thanks for reading.  I love love love Great Stuff.  My mom recently used it to fill in gaps in her garage to keep pests out.  Not jealous she has pests, but I was jealous she got to "play" with the stuff.  Thanks again!
