Well how did you’all fare thru the vast quantity of great food shared with family and friends. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving I know (burp) I did.
Man, but what about all this shopping at insane hours of the night and early morning? My dear Debbie and I have 15 grandchildren to buy for. Debbie has this down to a science. She even has each a budget where not only does she have the amount to spend but tracks the number of gifts so as to be fair to all. Debbie takes her Ipad with her where she has a spreadsheet keeping track of all this.
Seems the older they get the more expenses the gifts, Ipads, Ipad mini’s. Kindle Fires, bass guitars, electric drum sets, laptops, and the list goes on. Electronics rule!
Debbie and our daughter Jacque went to Target at 6 am on Black Friday and the line to get in the store was over 3 blocks long and the temps were in the mid twenties. Never the less, she hired our other children (we have six) to stand in line at various sales events at Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Best Buy. Oh, and let’s not forget all the hours on the internet chasing Ugg boots and other items that just had to be purchased at lower prices. An educated shopper is a better shopper.
