Following the rush of the holiday season GivingTuesday is a wonderful movement to give to others in our communities. Giving Tuesday serves as a kickoff to the giving season. Give in ways that matter to us, as individuals, as families. Donate food, blankets, clothing, time, education and of course money. I’m giving because I care! I’m giving because I love to give!
One simple and somewhat small way I love to give regularly is to send a card, personally written and if I have time, hand made. Some cards are for holidays however, the really others are just because. I get to feel good and give to myself creating and sending the card while the recipients get a fun piece of mail.
