Could This Be You!

By
Real Estate Agent with Carousel Realty

One thing that I have noticed since I have been in business is that you find some people who are not very cooperative. I feel like they have not studied the Golden Rule and the first rule of real estate or maybe they were raised that way.  My parents and grandparents taught me better than that. This is why I like activerain because a lot of the things that you need to get off your chest can be vented here. You then find that you are not alone, because those types of people are in every city and every state.

I wish that this could be a perfect world, but I know that I would be only dreaming.  I know that if you are going to excel in business and in real estate you must be ethical, honest, and above reproach in all your deals with the public.  It pays to have a conscience too.  Sometimes the fastest way up is also the quickest way down.

I think that the trouble that our economy is in today is because several in our profession and others too were not looking out for everyones best interests. They saw a fast buck, and they either did not think or were unconcerned about the eventual consequiences. Well now everyone will pay for their greed.

Jackie,

I could not agree more. You and I watched more than one new company spring up and take off here. However, 90% of their business was B-paper. I am not seeing any closings in our MLS with them involved!

The life of a realtor is repeat business but if all your clients default on their b-paper loan guess what, no repeat business!

Let's face it- not everyone is a nice or good person. I'm a firn believer in "what goes around comes around". Sometimes it comes right away and sometimes it takes awhile, but it always comes.
