Welcome to the Franklin Farm December 2013 single family home sales report.
Even in the winter, the Northern Virginia real estate market has continued to show price growth and homes that are in good condition, super location and priced correctly are getting contracts fast... often in a few weeks or less.Much of this is due to the continued low inventory of available homes for sale.
The pricing bottom occured in 1st quarter 2009 and much of the equity lost to sellers in the price plummet from the highs of 2006 have been recovered.
Great for sellers...tough on buyers.
