As we examine 2013 and look forward to new goals in 2014, this is an important question to ask yourself about your career.

How to tell the difference?
If it's an idea, you can put it on the shelf, postpone action on it, maybe even forget about it.
If it's a passion, you think (and act) on it constantly, keep coming back to it, people tell you they wish you would forget about it but you can't do it.
If it's only an idea, ask yourself how you can make your passion become your livelihood.

As I see it . . . . . . .
Is it an idea or your passion?
Ideas come into your thinking . . . . and if they are not acted on they disappear very quickly.
An idea that you believe in and act on with passion will find its way into reality. The key is the belief in yourself and your idea until you turn your idea into a mission.
There are many successful people that had a vision and an idea . . . . and acted on it with passion until they turned it a success story.
For example, the Wright Brothers, Thomas A. Edison, Mary Kay Ash, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and so many more that did. Not only did they have an idea they had the belief in their idea . . . . and the passion to find a way to make their idea work.
Is your profession is it an idea or is it your passion?
The answer is as difference as night and day.
If your idea it lacks commitment . . . . in most cases it will lack direction. If you’re passionate about your career you are committed to your career and your success. You will move through your days with a purpose in achieving your goals.
Is it an idea or a passion . . . . only you can answer that question? When you make your career your passion you will be lifted to higher levels of success and fulfillment.
