A visitor from California once told me that she had trouble finding her way around town in Seattle because the street signs are hidden behind trees and further camouflaged by their green sign color.

Seeking the benefit of healthy work and living space and consumers' increased environmental awareness has inspired more contractors to build eco-friendly homes, more manufacturers to create eco-friendly products, and more companies to use green marketing. Go green - it's the catch phrase of our time, and for enthusiasts, what better place to go green than Seattle, after all it is the Emerald City: a natural green gem

Scenic shades of green-lined streets and communities are trademark to the Pacific Northwest, so if you can't see the forest for the trees - you could be in Washington where even the State flag is green. In the color scheme of things the Northwest is a color coordinated setting for all who endeavor going green - naturally
