Vanity Phone Numbers R They Cool or Cold

How about 1-800-JUST-THE-NUMBER-PLEASE?
1-800-Call-Me Crazy but I don't want to have to figure out a phone number. I want to look at a number and dial it.
This is such a pet-peeve of mine. I am not sure which is worse for me - deciphering a vanity phone number or reading really small print. Both are an equal turn off for me.
Call me old - call me crazy
If you call me - here is my number

There is a reason it is called a phone number. It's not a phone letter.
What's your phone number?
May I just get your phone number, please?
This post is inspired by the frustration I feel when I want to dial a phone number and I have to go through an exercise to determine what number corresponds to a vanity phone letter.
If I absolutely do not need your service or can find another provider with an actual phone number, I guarantee you that is who I will call.
That's just me. Now you have my number. Both of them!
