Santa House in Smyrna

Make sure to get your wish list ready because Santa’s coming to town!

Young Children and the young at heart may hand deliver Christmas Wish Lists to Aunt Fanny’s Cabin (located on Atlanta Road across the street from the Market Village) and have a private conversation with the jolly old elf himself. Santa will be available each weekend in December before Christmas. This event is co-sponsored by the Smyrna Optimist Club and the City of Smyrna.

The Santa House will be held in the Smyrna Welcome Center– (Aunt Fanny’s Cabin) 2861 Atlanta Road– Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning December 6th from 6 – 8 p.m.

Here is Santa’s schedule:

Friday, December 6, 13, & 20 – 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 7, 14 & 21 – 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 8, 15 & 22 – 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

I still think of the moment when we first put our son on Santa's lap for a picture.  He took one look at this looming, large, jolly figure and would have none of it.  Safe to say my son and Santa never met again.  I love the holidays and their traditions, we filled in with other ideas once Santa was off the list, no need to check it twice.  He is now 22 and still is creeped out by this outfit.

Aaron, I remember how excited we were to visit Santa as kids.  I never remember being afraid of him.
