Snowing but I still need to eat

It was snowing lightly a few days ago, and while on the phone, I noticed a deer through a window grazing under the cedar trees.  I know it does not  seem that way in the photo, because he was sensing someone was around and he wanted to be alert to make a quick get away, which he did.

I suppose even with the not so nice weather the deer need to find food.

Dear Jennifer,
Guess it wanted to eat before the snow COVERED the food!
Have a happy day, Lynn

Awwww ~ I am not used to seeing deer - maybe more flamingos or alligators here in Orlando. Nice winter scene, Jennifer.

I guess the same could be said for all of us that work no matter what the weather. As crazy as the weather was yesterday our office was right out straight.

Thansk for sharing the photo.

Thanks for sharing your photograph. Enjoy the holiday season with your camera in hand. We have snow on the ground in Maryland and that is always a problem for wildlife.

Jennifer it is amazing how keen their hearing and eyesight is.  When I see one in my back yard even if it is the Winter time and all the windows are closed, some how they still know I am looking at them and just stop until I go away.

And the hunter love snow during hunting season because it easier to track deer.

Be safe & warm despite the weather.

I think that deer just might be Bambi.  I hope he finds a safe place for Winter.

Lynn sounds like a good plan to me.

Jane would love to see more Flamingos but will skip seeing the alligators:)

Joe I think we are in for a long harsh winter.  Come to think of it, winter hasn't officially started yet.

Gita thank you and have a nice day too.

Roy this season can be hard on wildlife. I remember one year the deer were starving, and they ate everything they could, including paper.

Amazing how these creatures can survive in the worst of weather.  I think the animals that hibernate have the right idea!

There are so many deer out this time of year. It is rutting season here so maybe there is more strutting and whatnot going on.

I just threw some old apples out in my yard. The deer love them. I would like to think a few birds got some of them, too.

Jennifer-Your headline is true for wildlife and realtors, although same may ask, is there really much difference between the two.
