Jo: I love all the accents you added and the bed spread/quilt is to die for. Just the right touch makes a big difference.

Jo your team has done it again! Great work. Scale, proportion, balance, and texture are just a few of the words I thought of as I looked at the after photos and saw the completed work as opposed to the before photos. Keep it up!

Jo, The difference from before and after is the difference between I'll put it on my list of possibles versus I love it. Great Job!

Michelle, Thanks again for your comments.  We actually worked to incorporate the window treatments with the bedding and lucked into accent pillows that included a touch of blue.  It is amazing what a well placed pillow can do for a room.  Jo

Soooo much better after, Jo!  And only with a few key yet subtle changes.  Don't you find that those pianos are tricky to try to stage with?  Just changing out those dining room chairs and adding more chairs to the dining room table made a huge difference.  Do you rent your pieces to clients when they will be living in the home?  If so, what are the terms of your contract?  I'm curious because this looks like an occupied home.

I think staging occupied homes is very important.  What a difference it makes!

Great job, Jo.  I love how you removed the armoire from the corner of the room as it makes it far more spacious!

Beautiful job!  To many people that home wouldn't need any help.  You really made a difference.

Sharon,  Thanks for the comment.  I think it is so critical to realize that sometimes the subtle changes stagers make can have the most impact.  Jo

Diana,  I take each situation on a case by case basis.  Often owner occupied homes are in need of items that will not be impacted by clients living in the home (artwork, lamps, and accessories)  If an item such as a coffee table in a well used room is needed, I will recommend that the homeowner make the purchase.  Most items though are fine and I have had great and fastidious clients!  Jo

Hey Jo, Love that red in the bedroom.  It brings the room to life!

Tanya, Thanks for the feedback.  We find that bedding is a very easy way to make a master bedroom really pop!

You did a geat job of adding just what needed to be added and removing what needed to be removed - it all flows so well!

Jo-Nice job! You really gave this home a nice clean sharp look. The rooms look much brighter. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.

The key to owner occupied staging is to blend the homeowners look with more current accents to create a compelling offering.
