Shutter Story (#16) - Seasons From Our Window

By

autumn and winter views from our window

I was looking at my facebook timeline this morning and noticed the contrast of these two recent shots that were taken from same vantage point out of our living room window. The brilliant and beautiful colors of fall were followed by winter with its own beauty. By his expression, you can tell that my five year old loves the snow the same as I do! :)

I am calling this series Shutter Stories (that link will show you my previous posts). I have been pulling out of my photo archive to share both old and new shots. I give a very short narrative and then I'll let the photo tell the remaining 1000 words of the story. hope you enjoy! craig

We make it easy. You make it home.

Interesting contrast. I like the fall photo better because of the colors, but I understand your son's enthusiasm with the snow...my kids love it, too.

We experienced that same contrast here in Dallas only it wasn't snow but ice - kids were smiling because schools were closed; wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas

It's hard for us old people to remember the simple joys children have!  I remember watching cartoons one Saturday morning and waiting for the snow to deepen outside so I could go sledding with my friends.  What could be better - cartoons and snow!?
