The weather is frightful outside with more than a foot on the ground and more predicted for today, tonight AND tomorrow.  Well, well, inside it is delightful and my snowmen are celebrating.

Even their friend, Bear, is in ready to celebrate . . .

Oops, I think Bear is practicing the hula dance . . . 

If you live in snow country you find creative ways to enjoy winter.  (And perhaps plan another trip to Hawaii.  That is my daughter's idea for next family reunion.)

Cold, yes.  Perhaps the bear and my daughter have the right idea.  We should be heading to warmer climate for the holidays.

Hi Hannah. Oh I remember those late nights at the office.  Easier to get things done when there are fewer people/interruptions.  I hope you have a snow-free day.  The snow machine stopped about 3:00pm, but is supposed to start again after midnight.  So far we have between 18-24 inches depending on location east or west of city.  I am on the low end and glad I have snow plow driver.

Toni, we loved Hawaii and brought these decorations back so I had to have fun with the snowmen.  A friend made the carrot cake to inspire us to make plans to return.
