Once again inventory is very low, but this is primarily due to the holidays. After the first of the year inventory will again begin to increase. Smart homeowners who want to sell their home will be ready to sell their home early in the new year. There will be little competition and the buyers who want an Alameda home are still ready to buy the right home for them.
Seven single family homes, 2 condos and 3 townhouses sold during the week from December 9 to December 16. The remaining two properties were a triplex and a business opportunity. The condos average sales price was $375,500. The townhouses sold for an average of $536,833. The 7 single family homes sold for an average of $717,143.
