 I was able to add a photo while logged in. Now I am logged out, but that option is not on the editor.  So I guess the answer to your question is no.  ;)

You may want to consider getting yourself a Real Blog....Wordpress is a good choice.  Or start you own group on Flickr.  That is what I would do.
