Is exceptional nature photography something you would enjoy having in your Richmond Virginia home or in any home? Landscape photographer Ben Greenberg specializes in panoramic photography that truly captures just the right moment, setting, mood and color combinations of various natural landscapes.
His latest book, Natural Virginia, is due to be released by March 2014, and last Wednesday nignt at the Science Museum of Virginia a lucky few of us had the opportunity to preview some of his work. If you appreciate any fine photography at all, then I highly recommend exploring his nature photography!
As the guest speaker for our Falls of the James Group Sierra Club Holiday Gala, Ben Greenberg offered several intriguing stories about his photographic experiences in order to find just the right moments to capture his scenic images. Below are several of my amateur iPhoto images of the kind of photographs given in a PowerPoint presentation that will be contained in his book which includes scenes from the three primary geographic regions of Virginia: Tidewater, Piedmont, and Western Virginia.
Remarkably, no filters were use in this photographic image taken at the Eastern Shore.
The scene above is taken from the Piedmont region of Virginia near Charlottesville.
The above scene is from the Blue Ridge Mountains in the western region of Virginia.
Although the above three iPhone photos pale in comparison to the true quality of the actual images, they still capture a glimpse of the beauty of Ben Greenberg's photographs. If you're curious about any currently available special promotions for his upcoming book, please check his website, www.naturalvirginiabook.com, for more information. You also will definitely find some higher quality and more representative photographic images on the website than those shown above!
