Delta County Colorado, Wild West Country with Plenty of Forests and Wildlife
Delta County with it's location on the West side of Colorado's Rocky Mountains holds a lot of wild remote beauty.
This is beautiful place is also home to our friend Debbie Laity, a local Real Estate superstar.
Delta County has a lot to offer, much of which Debbie has already covered, so I will stick to the Wildlife and forests today.
It is a great place to raise both forests and wildlife which is why you see so many smart people anxious to buy hunting and forest land here.
This area includes some of the best Elk hunting in Western Colorado along with plentiful Bear, Deer, Mountain Lions, Antelope and more.
Our clients at Woodland Management Service don't own any land in this county yet, you could be the first of our clients to own and enjoy some of this great wild land.
Delta County is home to 341 thousand acres of forest land, most of which, nearly 155 thousand acres is dominated by Pinyon/Juniper (Pinyon Pine and Juniper) which are generally found in the lower elevations.
A couple of other important forest types here are Aspen with 89 thousand acres and Spruce/Fir/Hemlock, with another 55 thousand acres.
All of these forest types are essential habitats for the great wildlife populations that thrive here.
When you are ready to own some superior forest land in Delta County give Debbie Laity a call or if you already own some and would like to learn more about how to improve this land, give me a call at Woodland Management Service, our Foresters and Wildlife Specialists can help.
