Pet Friendly Rentals in Las Vegas

Petunia my bull dog While we still have a long way to go, Las Vegas is becoming more and more pet friendly. With over 5,000 people a month moving to Las Vegas, the demand for pet friendly lodging is in high demand. There is one company that is ready to help out the desparate pet owner that needs a place to stay short or long term----Camden.

Camden has several apartment complexes all over the Las Vegas valley. They have communities that accept dogs from under 10 pounds all the way up to 100 pounds. To get a list of their pet friendly communities, visit www.camdenliving.com.

Several communities in Las Vegas are also courting pet owners with pet friendly communities. Sky Las Vegas and Spanish View Towers are high rise projects that cater to pet owners. Both projects have onsite areas just for their resident's pets. However, high rise condos aren't the only condos that are courting pet owners. Coral Palms and Brickwater, a low rise condominium community also have a private dog park on site for its residents.

Charles, Pets are people, too! Glad to see that there are places that are available to pet owners. I remember years ago, it was a sign of wealth to have pets and travel as well as dine with pets. I believe that Debbie Reynolds built a hotel in Monterey, CA allowing pets since she found it difficult while visiting to bring her dog. France still allows their animals in restaurants so we need to hop aboard, too. Great article and informative to all pet owners in Las Vegas and relos.

Yup. Petunia is the bull dog and Suki is a Shiba Inu (rescue). The backend belonged to Missy, a Scotty puppy we placed several weeks ago. -cr

Hey everyone!

I was hoping to get some info on rental homes that are pet friendly. I am WAY too pet friendly as I have 6 animals and am looking for a house to rent. 3 dogs and 3 cats. I have a sheltie, a cocker mix and mut that I rescued. The dogs are all well behaved, (no soiling of the floors, don't chew on anything and are friendly) my cats are also all housebroken and do not destroy anything. They are just house babies. I have had all my animals for years. The dogs are 6, 8 and 9. The cats are 4, 5and 6. I am not willing to part with them and come with many referances to show that I do take care of each and every one of them. They get groomed on a regular and two get shaved 3 times a year. This keeps down on the dander and the fuz on the floors. I am a clean fanatic and insist on having the "babies" well groomed.

Any help that I may receive would be SO helpful as I am 1800 miles away from Las Vegas, where my hubby already resides and am desperate to live once again under the same roof as my spouse. It has been since March that he left and I miss him terribly. =(

I desperately need to relocate 4 adult outdoors cats. Just trying to find a property owner with land or yard that has a big heart and likes cats to help place these guys in a safe place. Thank You.
